Great tool for uploading Flickr images easily! Suggestion[edit]

Thanks for this tool!

Is this the place to make comments about this tool? If not, can someone leave a note here directing people to better locations to leave comments, questions, suggestions, bugs, etc..

I suggest adding the English name for the month to the date formatting. Otherwise there is confusion sometimes figuring out the date. Due to American versus European order for month and day. Since the date is currently only in numerical form. --Timeshifter (talk) 06:46, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tooserver[edit]

Hello,
I mentionned a problem on the Commons:Village pump#Toolserver I met with the The Official White House Photostream, where the White House provides photos. They have changed their former Creative Commons licence for the words "United States Government Work United" . As an American federal government works this photos still stays in public domain ({PD-USGov-POTUS}). I do not know why the WH photogrpahers change this licence but that made them impossible to upload with Toolserver which do not recognize and find any licence. Carl Lindberg told me that Toolserver had to be modified to recognize it. What is curious is when I enlarge a photo on The Official White House Photostream, I can still read (in french as I use French Flickr) : " All the sizes of this photo can be uploaded under a Creative Commons licence "... Something to do to keep going using this wonderful tool tfor he WH photographs ? Thanks. TCY (talk) 18:03, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
