Hey! Sorry I don´t know how to handle this correctly .. You marked both pictutes with: Copyright violation: Copyright © 2012 HAMBURG RECORDS - ARTIST DEVELOPMENT... Thats right, but we are Part of Hamburg Records and want to get the Pics to Wikipedia, so we declare the source (Hamburg Records) and the author (Flo V. Schwarz).. What can we do now? Thanks!
Own cause [edit]
I know that sysops are Gods of WikiWorld. But still i don't consider it wise for an uploader to themselves review the image. A fresh eye is better. Nemo iudex in causa sua. - Well I can see one immediate issue with the upload - it's not truly Public Domain. If you check the copyright policy on the PETA India website, you'll see that it says
- PETA encourages visitors to its websites to spread the animal rights message by copying and downloading website content for personal, non-commercial use. f you wish to use any materials found on PETA's websites (text, videos, photographs, etc.) for any other purpose, you must submit this form and obtain express written consent before using the materials.
- You'll need to contact PETA and get that consent, then you can re-upload the image. Tabercil (talk) 21:34, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
