Also this one Image:Freesbie-1.1.png - I suspect this is actually a screenshot of free-licensed software, in which case it's OK and can be tagged {{free screenshot |license=GPL}} (or something like that...) The first image was made by the uploader, for a bittorrent group he's in, and he has chosen to release it under those licenses. On the second, I don't know the uploader. THe screenshot is of FreeSBIE – the name suggests that it is free, but the website doesn't mention a license. Jon Harald Søby 22:36, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

FreeBSIE is licensed under a BSD-style license - the same as FreeBSD -, and completely open. As for the GUI, I do not know. There are also FireFox logos visible, of which the license status is also unknown to me. Siebrand 12:23, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, "a favor" may be a bit problematic, since it actually means something in English. "Concordo", however, doesn't mean anything, and the icon makes it quite obvious what it means, so I don't think the translation is necessary. Jon Harald Søby 10:45, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi I just wanted to add you to the admin list templates and now I see that youd did so already. Thanks :-) As well congratulations for the large list of supporters of your vote. Don't loose the fun with these admin rights. ;-) If you have any questions for example on deletion guidelines just ask me (I am as well on IRC in #wikipedia-de oder #wikimedia-commons channel most of the time). not used anywhere?

Hi, Jon.

Some strange entries appeared on our CommonsTicker: You deleted Image:Bandera de Villajoyosa.gif and Image:Bandera de Buñol.gif (superseeded by the png versions), explicity saying not used anywhere, but they were! [1] Was the CheckUsage drunk that day? ;-)

Sorry about that! There were about 30 or so "Bandera de *.gif" images for Spanish municipalities, all in the same style; after checking the ten first, of which none were used, I only checked every fourth image or so, assuming that they had all been replaced by PNGs. Well, the main image by Aka is GFDL, while the Wikipedia logo is copyrighted. I'm not sure if it's ok with GFDL to just remove the tag. The original image, WIKIPEDIA ANZEIGE3 libelle.jpg, uses GFDL only, but I'm not sure if that's ok, as the logo is being used there too.
