Not knowing of this category, I recently started Category:Tile street signs. I presume the two should be merged...or is there a distinction that need to be observed? Can someone please clarify the precise terminology difference "ceramic" v/s "tile"? -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 19:23, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- I see that en:Wikipedia states "Tile is a manufactured piece of hard-wearing material such as ceramic, stone, metal, baked clay, or even glass", suggesting that not all tiles are ceramic, therefore tile would be the more general category? -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 19:35, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
