  •  Support Background is a little soft, yes, but it's still colorful and after all the two priests are the subject. Daniel Case (talk) 04:24, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose I'm not really wowed by the scene, sorry.--Peulle (talk) 07:36, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose per Peulle, and technical quality is not the best (see e.g. the door in the background) --Uoaei1 (talk) 08:37, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Concerning the technical quality, the background is soft due to the low depth of field, which was absolutely necessary in these difficult lighting conditions with moving subjects. Not a landscape picture nor a ceiling you can shoot with a tripod. I completely respect different feelings, but I also think the technical quality couldn't be better inside this temple. It's an action shot, then not focus stacked, and of course not everything is crispy sharp. Otherwise you'd have the subjects blurred or an excessive noise. Just different kind of photography I may withdraw if it's not appreciated enough. But I nominated it as I think it's original (different from what we usually see here), and special (as these people in this situation are not ordinary in my view) -- Basile Morin (talk) 09:33, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose Too much justification... and nowadays these are not difficult lighting conditions. As you said before, "technically the lens is not adapted," "Canon sells fixed focal lenses specially designed for this kind of photography, like the 50mm f/1.4 for example", providing much better results with less noise and more sharpness in the same lighting conditions. A fixed focal lens with wider aperture would have helped... DOF is not an issue anyway. What I don´t like is the contrast in materials, the shiny surface takes too much space and clashes with the colorful scene around... It is hard to say if the men are setting up shop (or a taco stand) or cleaning up. and in the context the level of lack of clarity as far as the activity suggests an inexperienced operator. I would crop out some of the left and bottom... --Tomascastelazo (talk) 18:20, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
