- Comment I'm expressing the same anxiety about the possibility for the misuse of photos of children and young if contributed on Commons as earlier in the QIC page. There are exceptions like to describe different cultures around the world. (Just my views)-- Jkadavoor (Jee) (talk) 05:32, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
- I usually employ the Grandma-test. If I can't send it to Grandma as a nice picture of her grandchildren, i don't take it (let alone post it). This one passes with flying colours. Let's not go crazy. Kleuske (talk) 09:13, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
- Comment I think that the notice in the image description indicating that the parents' of the children gave permission for the photograph to be issued with a CC licence is important, because the boys do not look old enough to give informed consent themselves. - These children are my nephew and my brother. His parents have been informed in detail. --The Photographer (talk) 20:21, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- I feel more danger in such "permissions". What we can do if somebody post this picture on a gay site with "proper" captions. Just sharing my anxieties. -- Jkadavoor (Jee) (talk) 06:39, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

- Question I do not understand the title of the file, "Boys in the river of Venezuela", because the boys are not in a river and I see no water. Has there been a translation error? Snowmanradio (talk) 17:23, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- It should add the word bank --The Photographer (talk) 17:27, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- Question Please improve the image description to increase any encyclopaedic value that the image might have. Please describe the location in words better. Are the two boys brothers? Are we to assume that these are local boys or are they tourists? If the geolocation is accurate, it indicates that there is a reservoir in the locality, so what is the relevance of this? Are the boys on the bank of a reservoir? Snowmanradio (talk) 18:29, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- Done Thanks --The Photographer (talk) 20:19, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- Support The image is not exceptional, but the complete description makes it FP. Yann (talk) 10:01, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose Permission and no wow. --Yikrazuul (talk) 16:24, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
- There is absolutely nothing illegal in the permission, you can say no WOW and any wow comment subjective, but permission is perfectly demonstrable that's fine. --The Photographer (talk) 17:58, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
