Info created by Kenneth & Gabrielle Adelman, California Coastal Records Project. Image is aerial photo taken as part of the California Coastal Records Project; after an unsuccessful lawsuit to suppress the image by Barbra Streisand, it later spawned the Streisand effect. - uploaded by Cirt - nominated by Cirt -- -- Cirt (talk) 00:42, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Support Very interesting. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 01:11, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
OpposeNeutral Sorry but the angle and the composition are bad, while the exposure of the objects is hindered because of their small size. However, the picture seems to bear some historical value, something that I didn't realize at first, and I, therefore, will switch my vote to neutral.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 12:21, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
Support The technical quality might be mediocre, but it remains the image that caused the Streisand effect. Awesome to have it released under a free license. Regards, Peter Weis (talk) 18:43, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Oppose The Streisand effect in action. But it doesn't work on me. No wow, a mediocre image. Fine for an article, but not for FP. Kleuske (talk) 18:38, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Oppose - This may have considerable educational value regarding the "Streisand effect" but not enough, in my opinion, to overcome the fact that it's almost identical to countless other images up and down that coast. Indeed, that was part of the point of the whole fuss. Jonathunder (talk) 21:51, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Oppose An interesting story, but sorry, not one of our best photos. --Avenue (talk) 03:04, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
Oppose Featured picture should strike for itself, even without any complicated story. Here we do not see anything extraordinary or beautiful; this image doesn't mean anything special for those, who didn't read an article in Wikipedia. However, it is good for the article illustration purposes. --Ximeg (talk) 17:23, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
