- Support The contrast is limited, but otherwise it's wonderful. -- Walké 17:36, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

- Oppose - Correct drawing but not special enough to reach FP level. The kitschy wind-rose should be replaced by a simple arrow indicating the North - Alvesgaspar 21:16, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Could you suggest, except for the wind rose, what else should be changed in the drawing to reach the FP level? Nikola Smolenski 13:56, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Support I checked accuracy with satellite picture from google maps, and it seems good to me. I ack Alvesgaspar, drawing is trivial, but I don't think common has better than that, and I think this drawing does its job well -- Benh 10:47, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose To be featured I think it lacks some polish. It looks a bit homemade still. /Daniel78 20:36, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- Do you have any specific objections, so that its author would know what to fix? Nikola Smolenski 13:56, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose I don´t see any reason for nomination of this picture. --Karelj 22:33, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- And do you see any reason for opposing its nomination? If so, perhaps you could share it with us. Nikola Smolenski 13:56, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Sorry, but not outstanding. Chabacano 17:26, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Support It is accurate, which is the most important thing for a map, and clear, which is the second most important thing. It may look bland, but that is the color of sand and pyramids, and I don't see how could it be improved. Nikola Smolenski 13:56, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Comment Nikola, I don't know what it is, but it's rare for a map to make Featured picture. It probably has something to do with photographers making the choices. It seems that photos of animals and buildings outweigh all other FPs put together.
- In any case, I would suggest that you not try to match the colors of the sands and the structures and instead use standard map-maker colors, such as can be found here. Good luck, and if I find the magic formula, I'll let you know. MapMaster 02:09, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
