  •  Comment @Spurzem: It is an early winter morning in Valparaiso, The CNS Almirante Condell (FF-06) was going out as we were coming in. If you look at the full image instead of the thumb, there is lots of detail in the shadow side of the ship. A histogram shows a full color range with no pinching at the low end.
    Still, your comment got me thinking and tuning the image a little. I lightened the image overall and boosted the shadows slightly. I prefer this lighter version over the previous. See if it works for you as well.
