  •  Neutral There are many pictures of this person (from the same photographer, for most of them), I think the best one is the BW version of the nominated picture. I still think a colour pic is better for a VI, but I'm uncomfortable here with the blue reflection on the left side (well, the right side, actually) of the face. --Eusebius (talk) 12:53, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Question should I withdraw the present image and nominate the black and white version? (Colour was a problem given the environment, I attempted to produce acceptable versions but it is not easy). Rama (talk) 13:00, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In my opinion, no. I would oppose to a BW picture if we have a colour one (whereas I'm only neutral here). But I don't make rules, there is no rule here (to the best of my knowledge) and other reviewers may have other opinions. --Eusebius (talk) 13:06, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support I'm changing my vote in the light of that sentence in the rules: "A VI is the best available image of its type on Commons, not the best that can be conceived of." --Eusebius (talk) 20:54, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
