Comment The scope is not described by the image. This image may have been taken to another eruption in Asia. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 06:29, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Is not described by the image"? I'll assume you're not calling me a liar, or doubting the EXIF data, and reply that the only possible image that would 100% certain have been of an eruption of Kelud is one of the mountain erupting, and we don't have one for this eruption (and even if we did, how would the year "be described by the image"?). At the very least the language of the name on the bag of rice used to collect ash (Beras Bulog) limits it to an eruption that affected Indonesia, not all of Asia. Furthermore, the criteria state "Is the most valuable illustration of its kind on Wikimedia Commons", not "Is the most valuable illustration of its kind that we'd like to have". Or do you mean the image page, for which my reply is simply "yes, it is". — Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:48, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I am absolutely certain of your honesty. I misspoke. If the image is excellent, which is the scope is not. The scope is too broad. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 10:59, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
