why the tight crop? Charlesjsharp (talk) 13:53, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, Charlesjsharp, I took this picture 30 years ago. Today I don't remember why I didn't take this photo from a greater distance. It may be that the conditions in the room and the lens available to me were the reason; but it can also be that I chose this cut on purpose. But if you think the picture is unusable, say so, for you are a professional in contrast to me. Best regards -- Spurzem (talk) 18:59, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
quality is too poor for me, but not enough to oppose. Charlesjsharp (talk) 20:51, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Charlesjsharp: I didn't know that we here are in "Featured pictures super plus". -- Spurzem (talk) 06:41, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The rules say "it is still expected that the image is of a reasonable technical quality and standard. For photographs, the quality achievable using the built-in camera in a modern mobile phone should normally be good enough. The technical standard required should be achievable by any photographer who has taken care over the image." Charlesjsharp (talk) 08:30, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
