English: A day at the Aylsham Show - sheepdog at work Presented by Gus Dermody, the commentator/presenter of the BBC2s One Man and His Dog and successful competitor at numerous sheepdog trials. In this display he presents several of his own sheepdogs working Indian Runner ducks.
The 62nd Aylsham Show - a traditional one-day agricultural show, held in the grounds of Blickling Park, a National Trust estate - took place on August Bank Holiday Monday. With an average attendance of 15,000 visitors, it is considered to be the largest of its type in East Anglia and organisers were hoping to be able to match the £40,000 surplus income that was donated to local charities last year. |
