Amongthe hills and mountains in nearly allparts of the West Indies a fairly mildclimate is found at the height of 2000feet and upwards. Winter, or thedry season, is the pleasant season inthese islands. With high temperature and abun-dant rainfall, vegetation in Cuba isluxuriant.
