English: Afghan National Army Sgt. Asil Khan with the 4th Infantry Brigade, 203rd Corps, holds up his certificate of completion from the Field Artillery Master Gunner’s Course provided by U.S. Army advisers with 1st Battalion, 76th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Sept. 18, 2013, Logar province, Afghanistan. The 80-hour train-the-trainer course focused on the 15 skills needed to properly employ the D-30 Howitzer and was a first for 4th Brigade, 203rd Corps. “They now have the capability to train and certify themselves in both the FDC (fire direction center) sections as well as the gun sections. This is probably the most important training we could have provided them with," said Sgt. 1st Class Juan Lozano Jr., a San Antonio native and the master gunner for 1st Bn., 76th FA Regt.
