r-tunate enough to secure passage in a boatthat was carrying wolfram ore down to the By Canoe and Bullock Cart 143 town, and in this way we easily covered intwo days what had taken us nine days toaccomplish going up. This ore had come over the hills on thebacks of elephants, the caravan route comingin at this point from Siam.
