Algerisk solfjäder av strutsfjädrar, 1700-tal.

Description
Svenska: Solfjädern har ett svarvat skaft i vitt ben (elfenben?) med spiralformade intarsiainläggningar i mörkt trä, även mindre svarta inläggningar på skaftet. Skaftet går sedan upp i ett rombformat handtag av pressat skinn i två lager, klätt med svart/mörk blå sidensammet. På sammeten är det broderat med metalltråd(antagligen ursprungligen förgyllt), mellan broderiet och sammeten ligger ett lager av figurskuret skinn. Delar av metallbroderiet är gjort av kantiljtråd. Det finns även förgyllda paljetter i broderiet.På undersidan syns resterna av någon typ av lim/stadga material. Mellan de båda lagren av skinnhandtaget sitter solskärmens "skärm", denna består av strutsfjädrar? dessa är färgade längst ut vid spetsarna.Gåva till drottning Ulrika Elonora d.y 1731 från dejen Abdi Pascha av Alger. Samtidigt fick Fredrik I två berberhingstar och ett sto, två strutsar, en bössa och ett par pistoler samt fyra svenska slavar.
