Description
English: U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Bud Sommerville, a member of the Indiana Army National Guard and a pilot with Bravo Company, 306th Military Intelligence Battalion (Aerial Exploitation), Task Force ODIN-Afghanistan, monitors the auto-pilot controls of a Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Surveillance System King Air 300, during a mission over Paktika Province, Afghanistan, Jan. 18, 2013. The twin-prop aircraft is utilized by the members of TF ODIN to provide aerial surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities for service members on the ground conducting missions outside the wire.
