English: As seen in the green glow of the night scope, Technical Sergeant Manuel Trejo, a videographer from the 1st Combat Camera Squadron, Charleston AFB, South Carolina documents the loadmaster of a 16th Special Operations Wing (SOW) MC-130E during a nighttime operational mission. The 16th SOW is deployed to the Joint Special Operations Aviation Component South at a classified location in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. In response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 at the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon, President George W. Bush initiated Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT), fighting terrorism abroad. |
