NEW
"Elite" Collection of
Monthly Carnations
The Divine Flower.
This Entire Collection of Monthly Ever-
blooming Carnation Pir.ks for
&
~No plant excels the ever-blooming Carnation Pink— rival-
ing the Hose in beauty of colors and shades, equaling it in
lasting perfume and even excelling it in profusion of flowers.
Easily grown, and blooms freely, either as a bedding plant in
Summer or in the greenhouse or window garden in Winter.
The collection I here offer are all of the very best new varieties
indeed, the.' are the boot that money . can buy, and have a
wide range in color. When you own this collection of Car-
nations you can rest assured that no person has any finer.
Triumph. — This variety has been treatiy admired wherever it has been seen, for its desirable color,
■being i. beautiful, pure, ricn pink, flowers large size and very freely produced. Plant of grand habit and
vigorous growth, it is a superb variety.
Rose Queen. —One of the roost fragrant Carnations we have seen. Color a pure, soft rose, a most
contiguous bloomer and distinct in coior from any other sort offered. Greatly admired by all who have
seen it growing here.
Alaska. — This beautiiui white Carnation is remarkable for its extremely vigorous growth, very large
flowe-s, perfect shape, color, which is immacuiate, sweetness of perfume that is delicious, and vigorous
grow in, this variety has no equal. The best white by far out of a dozen varieties we have of that color.
Painted Lady. — Another grand Carnation, with enormous sized flowers, often measuring three and
a ha f inches in diameter, at tbe same time being one of the freest blooming Carnations we have ever
seen. Ground color of flower the purest white, very handsomely penciled with richest crimson.
Armazindy. — The "Pink of Perfection. " Probably the most beautiful Carnation yet introduced,
and must become very popular. Flowers are a pure satiny white, and marked and shaded with rosy
pink, good size, perfect form, never bursts. It is the strongest and sweetest scented Carnation we know.
A perfect beauty.
Mrs. Thomas Lawson. — No plant of whatever kind has ever received sa much description and
free advertising by the newspapers of the whole country as this sensational Carnation. It was sold for
% 30.000 The size is enormous, of a true pink color. Altogether a trua twentiath aaatury Carnation.

.Everything has bean claimed for it and my own opiaion is that it will justify tka claim.

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
