| Description |
English: Between Port nam Marbh and Port Donain Northeast of Rubha na Faoilinn at the mouth of Loch Spelve, the coast is rocky, but low, with minor cliffs and slopes rising only to about 80m. There are possible landing places quite often, though not in this view. This is fairly far up the Firth of Lorn form the open sea, and swell is a little less than further southwest on the Mull coast, which can be quite committing. However, the weather doesn't always come from the southwest and we had quite an exciting time paddling here in a force five northeasterly, with a lot of chop and some clapotis. |
