Deutsch: Der hl. Luzius, Patron der sehr alten ecclesia S. Lucii in Zuoz, ist für das Gericht Oberengadin das überlieferte Siegelbild. Blau als Schildfarbe geht zurück auf das Wappen der Freiherren v. Gamertingen, von denen der Churer Bischof die Herrschaft im Oberengadin mit ihren sehr umfangreichen Besitzungen und Rechten übernahm.
