English: Army Staff Sgt. Homer Teague, left, a native of Bastrop, Texas, checks on Army Sgt. Dakota Laursen, a native of Boise, Idaho, both assigned to the 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment, at the gate of the water treatment facility on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 19, 2013. The soldiers were alerted for a training exercise and made a tactical road march to secure the facility after an earthquake and tsunami in a deployed country under simulated conditions, and were tested on their ability to safeguard the plant and cooperate with local leaders while preventing civil disturbances.
