Description
English: Petty Officer 2nd Class Alejandro Delgado, an aviation maintenance technician at Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, Mass., deployed to Alaska for Arctic Shield 2015, controls a hoist cable while lowering a rescue swimmer into the Arctic Ocean during Coast Guard Research and Development Center’s joint civil and federal search and rescue exercise near Oliktok Point, Alaska, July 14, 2015. Delgado is a member of forward operating location Deadhorse, a deployment of two Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crews in the Arctic to carry out Coast Guard statutory missions in the region.
