| Description |
English: Dam at Crosscanonby Carr A view looking to the southwest along The Beck at Crosscanonby Carr Nature Reserve. A note on the information board at the entrance to the reserve states that this oak dam was built across The Beck to slow water down as it passes through the site. This keeps the meadows damp and improves conditions for all the water-loving plants and animals that feed, breed and live in the Carr. |
