Deutsch: Dolakha, Nepal, 1974. Tradtionelle Bauweise eines Nepalesischen Newar-Dorfes. Die Newar ist eine aus dem Kathmandu-Thal stammende Ethnie. Die Strasse ist mit lokalen Steinplatten gelegt. Die Hausmauern sind aus Lehm aud Steinen gefertigt, die Dächer aus Stroh. Foto: Fritz Berger.
English: Dolakha, Nepal, 1974. Traditional architecture of a typical Newari village in Nepal. The Newars are an ethnic group, who originated in the Kathmandu valley. Traditionally, the streets are made of local cobblestones. The walls of the houses are made of clay and stone ; the roofs are thatched with straw. Photo : Fritz Berger.
