Beschrijving : Draaibrug in de straatweg Gorinchem-Vianen nabij het station Arkel. Standplaats bezuiden de brug nabij de brugwachterswoning
Annotatie : De brug heeft twee doorvaartopeningen, elk wijd 14M, lengte gemeten in de as 36.60M, afstand hoofdliggers (tevens leuningen) midden op midden 5.32M, breedte tussen de hoofdliggers (tevens leuningen) 5M, hoogte hoofdliggers buitenwerks in het midden 2.36M, hoogte hoofdliggers buitenwerks aan de einden 2.06M, In geopende stand, daalden de brugeinden, door het eigen gewicht 26.5mM, in gesloten stand, belast met 400kg per M2, bleek de grootste doorbuiging te zijn 5mM, de opzethoogte bedraagt 7mM. De brug wordt door een man in 70-80 sec. gedraaid over 90 graden en opgezet in 20 en losgemaakt in 15 sec. Aan de brug is verwerkt, met in begrip van spilhouder, spil, tandring, kussens etc. Geklonken ijzer 49635 kg, profielijzer 5270 kg, gesmeed ijzer 1234 kg, gesmeed staal 4271 kg, gegoten ijzer 4720 kg, fosforbrons 90 kg, Amerikaans hout 24 M3 21600 kg totaal 86820 kg. Het draaibaar gedeelte weegt 83800 kg
