English: 238 sets of ID tags with the names of all the EOD techs who have fallen in the line of duty since the declaration of World War II hang from an M16 at a memorial at Al Faw Palace in Baghdad . Sixteen more sets with the names of those who died in 2009 were added during the EOD memorial ceremony May 1.The memorial at Al Faw Palace was timed so that the placement of the dog tags of deceased technicians on the combat memorial coincided with the placement of those same individual's names on the EOD Memorial at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. |
