grown roots of Dahlias, and are not
particular about named varieties,
we offer separate colors without
names, all large double flowers,
as follows : Yellovr, White, Pink,
Purple, Red, Variegated.
Price, 30c. each, or 6 large roots,
one of each color, for $1.50. By express only,

The true "Cactus" Dahlias are all rather loosely built, but perfectly
double, somewhat lilfe a Japanese Chrysanthemum, having a very artistic
appearance. The petals are mostly twisted, tightly reflexed at the points
and pointed,
Blanche Keith. The petals are long and twisted, very full and evenly
arranged, and of a uniform rich yellow.
Baron Schroder. This is a rich, glowing imperial purple.
Bridesmaid. Delicate shade of rose, passing toward the centre to pale
primrose ; beautifully formed, very free flowering. Price, 40c. each.
Delicata. A lovely shade of pink, shading to pale yellow.
Earl of Pembroke. Bright plum, deeper and more velvety toward the
centre ; petals long, pointed and regularly arranged. One of the best

Matchless. Rich, deep, velvety maroon, with long, pointed petals,
and flowers thrown well above the foliage. One of the best very dark
varieties. Awarded 22 flrst-class certificates. Price, 25c. each.
Mayor Haskins. The brightest glowing crimson ; a large, bold flower
oi true Cactus type, resembling
Gloriosa, but deeper in color.
Mrs. Barnes. Long, twisted, narrow
petals, of a lovely clear primrose,
shading to palest rosy pink.
MRS. PEART. Plant of medium
growth, exceedingly floriferous,
flowers stand clear above the leaves.
They are of medium size, of the
purest white, with a slight tinge of
lemon in the centre when it first
opens ; this dies off as the flower
ages. (See cut.)
Professor Bald-win. Bright orange;
very long stems.
Starfish. Flower large and deeply
built; petals long, curled, pointed;
pure orange-scarlet. 40c. each.
The Queen. Snow-white ; petals
rather broad, beautifully pointed
and twisted. Price, 25c. each.

LARGE DECORATIVE CACTUS DAHLIAS
The Large Decorative Cactus Dahlias differ from the true
' Cactus" type in having broader and heavier petals. They
are also, generally speaking, stonger in growth and freer in
bloom. They are invaluable for cut flower decoration and
magnificent in the garden.
Admiral Dewey. Brilliant imperial purple, fine form, a
strong grower ; by far the best of its class. Price, 25c. each.
Asia. A delicate peach pink ; very distinct.
BLACK PRINCE. Rich maroon, almost black. (See. cut.)
Beauty of Brentwood. A purple magenta, verj- deep and I'ich.
Clifford W. Bruton. A clear, rich yellow, perfectly double.
Crimson Giant. Deep crimson, very large.
Glare of the Garden. Intense scarlet.
Lyndhurst. Dark, dazzling crimson-scarlet.
MAID OP KENT. The ground color is a rich crimson, the tips
of the petals are a pure snow-white ; very unique. (iS'ee cut.)
Mrs Hawkins. Eich sulphur-yellow, light tips.
Mrs. G. Reid. Pure white, conspicuously edged with rose.
Nymphaga. Beautiful pink, shading to blush at the centre.
Oban. Eieh. rosy lavender, overlaid silvery fawn.
Robert Maher. Medium size, rich golden-yellow.
Rayon d'Or. Bright orange, with a band of white.
Wm. Aguew. The grandest red Cactus Dahlia, large and fine.
"Wm. Pearce. Rich sulphur-yellow. One of the very best.
Zulu. Intense velvety maroon, almost black; large, fine flower.
