Jason Andrade of Bastrob, Texas, both squad leaders in Operations Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, Task Force Maverick, 1st Cavalry Division, provide security for Army officials June 27 visiting Bala Hesar, a fortress in Gardez, Afghanistan, that is home to a new Afghan quick reaction force. The force is comprised of Afghan National Army, Afghan Uniformed Police, Afghan Border Police and Afghan National Civil Order Police members. |
