English: Ninety six-year-old WWII veteran, Sgt. Clinton Woodley, watches as Maj. Gen. Michael Bills, commanding general 1st Cavalry Division, pins on the last of four awards presented to Woodley during an awards ceremony at Cooper Field, at Fort Hood, Texas, March 27. Woodley joined the 1st Cav. Div. in 1940, riding the Texas-Mexico border. Later, he served with the First Team as an infantryman in the Pacific Theater of Operations from 1943-1945. Woodley was presented the Bronze Star Medal; the Philippine Liberation Medal; the Asiatic-Pacific Medal with four bronze campaign service stars; and the World War II Victory Medal.
