Description

A, CURRIE&
y-R'fc
. '*4u^a t,
GARDEN SEEDSi
POTATOES.
The price of Potatoes is subject to change
as the season advances, although we adhere to
the catalogue prices as much as possible.
All our Potatoes are sold by weight (60 lbs.
to the bushel; 165 lbs. to the barrel). It fre-
quently happens that we ship in bags instead of
barrels to points that are not distant in order
to save time packing.
All Potatoes at prices mentioned are deliv-
ered f. o. h. cars and are shipped at purchaser's
risk.
Plant 10 bushels cut tubers to the acre.
Red River White Ohio — This variety is identical
with the following except in color, the skin
being white. It possesses allithe good qual-
ities of the Red Early Ohio. The color of
the skin, however, is the only advantage.
Our stock of it is very limited, and we would
suggest to our customers that they give us
the privilege of furnishing another sort
should we be sold out of it at the time the
order reaches us. Price per peck, 60c; bushel,
$1.60.
Red River Early Ohio — Our Red River grown seed of this
popular variety will increase your yield far beyond your
expectations. The soil in this valley is peculiarly adapt-
ed to the best development of the potato crop. Not only
do you get an increased yield, but the potatoes are far
better, cleaner, and entirely free from scab, besides be-
ing pure, with none of the mixture usually found in
Eastern grown stock. It will pay you to change your
seed. Price per peck, 50c; bushel, $1.50.
Suowfliike Jr. Potato:
Early Rose — This old favorite still holds a leading place
amongst the early varieties. It is very prolific, has a
strong constitution and possesses splendid cooking qual-
ities. Price per peck, 50c; bushel, $1.50.
Carman No. 3. — A favorite main crop potato, it is a strong
grower, yielding' good crops under almost all conditions.
The tubers are very uniform in type, with shallow eyes,
and very few of them, skin and llesh white. Its cook-
ing qualities are the best. Price per peck, 50c; bushel,
$1.50.
Carman No. 3 Potato.
Rural New Yorker No. - — Popularly known as
"Dusty Rurals." Is a standard in all mar-
kets, always bringing the top market price.
It is a vigorous grower, producing heavy
crops of uniformly large tubers, of excellent
quality, and very few, shallow eyes. The
skin is white and smooth. Price per peck,
50c; bushel, $1.50.
Sir Walter Raleigh — An excellent late variety,
producing heavy crops of large white skin-
ned tubers, with very few shallow eyes.
They are round in shape, slightly flattened,
always cooking evenly throughout. Price
per peck, 50c; bushel, $1.60.
Snowttake Jr. — A very prolific late sort, possess-
ing more good qualities than any other we
have ever grown. The tubers grow to a uni-
formly large size, with white skin and shal-
low eyes, few in number. .It is a remark-
ably vigorous grower, and free from dis-
ease. Price per peck, 60c; bushel, $1.60.

Public domain

This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer.

This work is in the public domain in the United States because it was published (or registered with the U.S. Copyright Office) before January 1, 1929.

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
