The Royal Palace which was built byMaria Theresa, and partly destroyedby fire in 1849, has been finely re-stored. The Ofen Town Hall. The Matthias-Kirche. The Gymnasium, and theGothic Realschule. The GarrisonChurch, in the Gothic style, is in theFerdinands-Pla tz. At the base of the Blocksberg arethree chalybeate and warm sulphursprings, used at the Bruckbad forbathing. The Raitzenbad is nearhere on the hillside in the Raitzen-stadt. The Blocksbad is further downthe river. The Hunyadi-Janos andFranz-Josef springs are in the meadowsat the foot of the Blocksberg. The Kaiserbad, near the Mar-garethen - Briicke, is the principalsulphur bath in Ofen. There areeleven springs, the temperature vary-ing from 80 to 150 Fahr.
