Description
English: Airman 1st Class Jacob Linton, Keesler firefighter, prepares to decontaminate “victims” as they leave a contaminated area during a hazardous material exercise scenario Nov. 5, 2014, at the Taylor Logistics Center on Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The exercise scenario began with an Airman accidentally hitting a 55-gallon drum of sulfuric acid with a forklift and knocking several more drums off of a truck causing the liquid to splash onto other Airmen. Immediately, the Airmen simulated skin and eye burns from exposure to the agent, while additional Airmen on the loading dock started coughing and experiencing shortness of breath.
