[edit]DescriptionHumanitarian effort prevalent in Golden Gate build DVIDS787336.jpg |
English: A soldier from the 132nd Multi-Role Bridge Company, Task Force Warhammer, interacts with children from a nearby village at the Golden Gate bridge site in the Helmand province, Afghanistan, recently. When complete, the Golden Gate Acrow Bridge will signify another milestone improvement in Afghanistan’s infrastructure and will provide the local populace with improved access commercial and medical services. The build site projection team is a compilation of Marine Corps, U.S. Navy personnel, U.S. Army engineers and Afghan National Army forces working together for the common goal of allowing local nationals and Coalition Forces ease over the otherwise unpredictable Helmand River. |
