Description
Deutsch: Richtung Norden, Gleis 3 (seit 2004 Gleis 1), links lagen die Güterverkehrsanlagen mit zwei Ladestraßen sowie Kopf- und Seitenrampe. Der Güterverkehr war durch die zahlreichen Anschließer bis 1990 so umfangreich, dass dafür besonderes Personal vorgehalten wurde und eine Kleinlok stationiert war. Er brach 1990 vollkommen zusammen.
Dass der Inselbahnsteig mit Dach beim Umbau 2003 und 2004 erhalten wurde, ist dagegen schon nahe am Wunder. Dass man es bis 2020 noch immer nicht geschafft hat, den seit Jahrzehnten geforderten Ausgang nach Osten zur Liprandisdorfer Straße einzurichten, ist allerdings für Leipzig wieder typisch. Dass die Reisenden, die auf diese Seite wollen, keine Ehrenrunde traben, kann man sich vorstellen.
