Description |
English: A standard gold lacquer ground four case inro. A design with four cranes flying on one side and five on the other in front of Mount Fuji. Design in "hiramakie" on the mountain and "okibirame" in gold and silver on the birds and Mt. Fuji all on a background of "mura-nashiji." The interior in "nashiji" and "fundame." The rims in "kinji." Inscribed in gold lacquer on the bottom of the lower case. Together with a carved wood netsuke in the form of a tortoise. |
