Description
Deutsch: Von der Fußgängerbrücke Probstheidaer Straße. Links die (Fern)gleise der Strecken 6361/LC und 6362/LH, die nur noch dem Güterverkehr dienen. Rechts mit dem zusätzlichen Mittelgleis insbesondere für wendende Züge die Strecke 6377. Die alte Bezeichnung »Vorortgleise« passt seit der Inbetriebnahme des neuen S-Bahn-Systems wieder. Der Bahnsteig zwischen den Gleisen der Strecke LC/6361 wurde beim Umbau abgebrochen, der schon Anfang der 1970er errichtete Vorgänger der Fußgängerbrücke von der Karl-Jungbluth-Straße reichte nur zu diesem Bahnsteig. Zusätzlich bestand jedoch ein Zugangstunnel von beiden Bahnsteigen zum Empfangsgebäude. Den Außenbahnsteig rechts gab es vor dem Umbau nicht, an dieser Stelle lagen Güterverkehrsgleise. Das größere der beiden quaderförmigen und in Leipzig gewohnt talentfrei besprühten Gebäude ist das eStw Connewitz.
