Description
Deutsch: »Es gab in Chile neun Lokomotiven des Typs 22, gebaut von Rogers zwischen 1884 und 1893. Die Tenderlokomotiven wurden als Rangierlokomotiven eingesetzt. In den Jahren 1949 bis 1954 waren nur noch vier Maschinen in der Region San Eugenio in Betrieb, außerdem existieren Aufzeichnungen, nach denen der Einsatz im Bahnhof San Fernando in den 1940er Jahren endete.

Im Vergleich mit der Mehrzahl der ähnlichen Typen 39, 54 und 56 ist beim Typ 22 der Raddurchmesser relativ groß, dadurch hatten die Maschinen Nachteile bei der Anfahrbeschleunigung und bei den möglichen Anhängelasten. Die letzte Lokomotive des Typs 22 wurde bis 1968 eingesetzt.

Die Maschine mit der Nummer 205, gebaut 1893, ist die Älteste im Museum von Santiago erhaltene. Sie wurde am 17. August 1970 agestellt.«
