Description
Deutsch: Strecke von Madrid und Placencia, die Triebwagen der Reihe 598 sind unmittelbare Vorgänger der Reihe 599. Die Stirnfronten weichen etwas ab, die Einstiegstüren sind zweiflügelig und es gibt keinen Niederfuranteil. Die Kastenform und die Einstiege erinnern an die Vorgänger der Reihe 594, die ihrerseits von den dänischen MF (»IC3«) abgeleitet wurden.
Auch bei diesem Triebwagen sitzt die Abdeckung über der Kupplung nicht gerade. Es scheint sich um eine konstruktive Schwachstelle zu handeln.
