Description
Deutsch: Der Triebwagen steht am Abfahrtsbahnsteig, Nachschuss. Er wird als Zug der Linie C15 nach Hainichen fahren. Nur gut drei Kilometer davon wird er unter der Gleichstromfahrleitung elektrisch verkehren, in der Umgebung von Chemnitz und im Erzgebirge ist das Fernbahnnetz bislang kaum elektrifiziert.
Auf den Strecken im Chemnitzer Straßenbahnnetz, wo die Citylink der Chemnitzbahn planmäßig verkehren, sind die Bahnsteige in zwei unterschiedlich hohe Abschnitte unterteilt. Die jeweils vordere mit 380 mm Höhe über SO wird von den »Citylink«-Zügen der Chemnitzbahn mit höherer Lage auch der tiefliegenden Einstiege mit weißen Türen genutzt. Die Variobahn-Einheiten halten an den hinteren Positionen mit nur 240 mm Bahnsteighöhe.
