Andy Zaidi from Oakland, Calif., the 2nd platoon leader with Bravo Troop, 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry Regiment, Task force Red Horse, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Task Force Red Bulls, and Afghan National Army Capt. Aziz with the 6th Kan Dak, 201st Corp, and a French Operational Mentoring Liaison Team member speak with village elder during a patrol through the Qal'ah-ye Jala village, Parwan province, Afghanistan, March 21, 2011. 113th Cavalry Regiment joined with ANA and OMLT to conduct a dismounted patrol to ensure security within the village and to conduct a key leader engagement.
