English: U.S. Navy Lt. Molly Avery, a physical therapist at the Warrior Recovery Center, Roll 3 Multinational Medical Unit, Oneal Mandin, Rodel Chiong, both dog handlers with AM K9, and U.S. Army Lt. Col. James Giles, a surgeon with the 463rd Military Detachment Veterinary Services, help to rehabilitate Storm, a contract working dog at the Kandahar Airfield Role 3 Hospital in Afghanistan. Storm is currently undergoing weekly rehabilitation with the physical therapists after becoming the first dog to have spinal surgery performed in this combat theater. |
