Deutsch: Hauer, Daniel Adam: Das Schloß oder Castell zu Leipzig, die Pleißenburg genannt (um 1780).
Kupferstich (29 x 40,3 cm Plattenrand), Guckkastenblatt - deshalb seitenverkehrt!. Druck auf stellenweise knittrigem Bütten, die Farben frisch, altkoloriert. Gestochen von Daniel Adam Hauer nach einer Vorlage von Samuel Blättner. Blättner: Sächsische Malerfamilie. Samuel Blättner (1704 -1762) lernte in der Schweiz (Schüler von Joh. Rud. Daellikers), ging dann nach Dresden, später nach Leipzig und schließlich nach Altenburg, wo er Hofmaler wurde. Er war Historienmaler und hat sich auch mit Architektur beschäftigt (THIEME-BECKER Bd. 4, S. 82). - Daniel Adam Hauer, Schrift-, Landkarten- und Kupferstecher in Nürnberg (geb. 1734; lebte noch 1789; THIEME-BECKER Bd. 16, S. 126). |
