English: Sgt. 1st Class Cain Bassett, a member of U.S. Army Asymmetric Group, discusses Humvee operations and parts with students from Marley Elementary School during the AWG's Army day hosted for the school, June 5, at Fort Meade, Md. Twenty-three boys who are members of the elementary school's program, Marley Boys, participated in the event. The events also included a mock abbreviated physical fitness test, drill and ceremony activities, hands on with Army equipment, a trip to the Fort Meade Museum and concluded with a certificate ceremony. The Army day provide a day for the students to build confidence in themselves, learn about the Army and demonstrate the many options that exists for their futures. |
