| Description |
English: (1 in a multiple picture set) I have zoomed in from the previous picture to show the location of the faces and the surrounding rock. You'll notice that the area below the monument is very undeveloped. You just parked you car in an open lot and walked to the visitor center at the base of the mountain. Today it is all built up with a double or triple decked paprking garage, and granite walkways with flags. I sort of like it this way better. |
