Description

New Floral Guide — Spring 1901.
The Magnificent New Pure
White Ever-Blooming Rose
Frances E.Wlllard
This Charming New Pure White Hver-Iilooniin,'-;: Rose is an elegant variety introduced last year, and
being considered the most beautiful of all Pure White Ever-Blooming Roses, was named in honor of the
noble life and work of pj^^NCES ' E. WILLARD,
The Great Apostle of Temperance and Purity, and the Late Venerated President of the W. C. T. U.
The "White Rose" being the Emblem of this Society, it seems eminently fitting -that the most beautiful
of all White Roses should be named in commemoration of one who has given her life for the cause she
loved, and the memory of whose good works will always live in the hearts of her country women.
This beautiful rose is a strong vigorous grower and true ever-bloomer, making handsome bushes. The
buds and flowers are of the very largest size,— ptire snow white and so full and perfect they resemble a
Cainelia. The fragrance is delicious, and it is claimed to be by far the grandest of all Pure White Ever-
i^iooming Roses. Price— Good Mailing Plants, 25 ct5. each, Postpaid. Larger 5ize, 30 cts. each,
a wo-year size, 75 cts. each, Express.
In view of the affectionate remembrance in which Miss Willard was held by millions of people in
this country, and feeling confident that thousands of her friends would like to have a more substantial
memorial of her than a single rose bearing her name, we have selected six other of the Sweetest and
Most Beautiful Pure W^hite Ever-Blooming Roses, making seven in all of the Newest and Choicest Pure
White Ever-Blooming Roses, which we call
THE FRANCES E. WILLARD SET
These are the newest and most beautiful Pure White Ever-Blooming Roses to date, they will thrive and
bloom in all suitable situations, and their wealth of snowy fragrant blossoms will serve as a perpetual

Public domain

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
