Norsk bokmål: Den første norske Internatskole i United Kingdom ble åpnet i et gammelt slott i nærheten av Aberdeen den 2den november i år. Skolen har ca. 70 elever, hvorav de fleste kommer fra bygder og fiskevær i Norge. Mange kom over i forbindelse med raidene på Svalbard, Lofoten og Måløy. Blandt barna er det også enkelte som er kommet over Nordsjøen i åpen båt. Skolen drives etter norske undervisnings-prinsipper og med helt gjennom norsk personale. Bildet viser utpakking av leketøy etter ankomsten til skolen. Et bombefly med norske farger gjorde særlig lykke. (Original bildetekst) |
