| Description |
English: North London Line View from the footbridge between Savernake Road and Parliament Hill Fields. A silverlink class 313 unit trundles towards Hampstead Heath station. The concrete bridge has walls too high to see over, but has 4 of these curious embrassures at a height suitable for children to view the railway. I suspect that they are actually holes provided for the lifting equipment when the bridge was built and that someone forgot to fill them in - we can't have children watching the trains, can we? |
