A very beautiful and valuable Rose, resembling
General Jacqueminot, but fuller and more con-
stant bloomer ; dark rich scarlet, passing to deep
velvety crimson ; extra-large, full flowers ; very ^
sweet.
Qloire Lyonaise
This grand Rose is a pale shade of chamois
or salmon yellow, deepest at centre, and some-
times passing to rich creamy white, finely
tinted with orange and fawn ; if is the nearest
yellow Hybrid Perpetual Rose; the flowers
have all the beauty of Tea Roses and are large
and full and delightfully sweet.
Bright shining scarlet, beautifully
' shaded with rich crimson ; petals edged
' with violet; very large, full and double,,
and exceedingly sweet.
Extra-large flowers, good, full form ; bril-
liant scarlet, elegantly tinged and shaded
with dark purple ; very sweet.
General "Washiiigtoii.*
Color bright shining crimson ; flowers are
krge and perfectly double; blooms the first
sea:;.on and almost constantly.
General Jacqueminot.*
Bright shining crimson, very rich and velvety ;
X- exceedingly brilliant and handsome ; makes mag-
nificent buds, and is highly esteemed as one of the
best and most desirable for open ground and also for
forcing.
Gloire de Marsrottln.*
The flowers are very large, somewhat globular,
very full and deliciously scented ; the color is a
clear dazzling red, one of the most brilliant Roses
ever seen.
Glory of the Hxposition of Brussels. ^'^
Large, full flowers; fine fragrance; color deep velvety,
purplish amaranth, almost black; base of petals fiery red.
We recommend this as one of the most satisfactory of all hardy
Roses. A superb variety.
Glory of "W^altliam.*
Brilliant crimson, with fiery red centre ; very bright and showy; large, full,
-egular flowers ; highly perfumed.
Gustave Pisraneau.*
Very vigorous grower, produces very large flowers, which in size equal Paul Neyron ;
extremely full and very handsome ; color brilliant carmine ; one of the best Roses in the
list.
Heinricb Schultlieis.*
. Splendid large flowers, very double and sweet ; color delicate pinkish rose, wax-like substance, exquisitely

beautiful. Fine Autumn bloomer. Highly recommended.
